(I suspect the same group where in the review someone is complaining about two or three rashers of bacon).

I’m not sure if the resulting twin room instead of double was as a result of what seemed to be a large group being at the hotel the same night. It also seemed like the breakfast we had added on at the time of booking wasn’t showing too, which added a bit of confusion each morning. We were told the beds could be pushed together to make a double, but I wasn’t going to have furniture moved around, when I just wanted to go and have a relax in the room.

We offer a tasty full English breakfast in the Bilberry Suite from 06:45 to 08:30.There are a number of good Restaurants within easy walking distance, including Lailing Cantonese and gastro-style pubs, including Barnt Green Inn and Epic.ħ.07km from The Cue Club After arriving there following a 4 hour drive, for some reason we were allocated a twin instead of the double we had booked.

It is close to Cadbury World and the Sea Life Centre. There is a popular gastro pub just a few minutes' drive away. The Old Rose and Crown Hotel is few minutes’ walk from great train and bus links. Whilst there is no restaurant in the hotel, there are various local eateries just a short walk away, including a Cantonese restaurant, a fish and chip shop, and a pizza takeaway.

Dirty, noisy hotel with rude, unfriendly staff, who really couldn’t care less! Not recommended.ģ.63km from The Cue Club Old Rose and Crown Hotel is within 400 acres of the beautiful Lickey Hills, 5 minutes' drive from the M5 and M42 motorways, 15 minutes from central Birmingham.Originally a 300-year-old coaching inn, the Old Rose and Crown is part of the North Worcestershire Walkway and has en suite rooms with views across Lickey Park. With free Wi-Fi and parking, the hotel is next an 18-hole golf course, all-weather tennis courts and a bowling green. We would under no circumstances stay here again with our young children. We booked this hotel for its location to Cadbury world, we live in Yorkshire so are not familiar with the area. We mentioned our horror at the cleanliness to the man in reception who stated that it is impossible to keep the car park clean with the type of clientele they receive! The filth continued in all public areas, the outside area was full of cigarette ends and the lift had rubbish in for the full duration of our stay. Also there were groups of boys racing around the car park on scooters (in between cars) and playing football next to the entrance of the brewers Fayre.

Overfilling skips, rubbish lying around everywhere, we really didn’t feel comfortable leaving our car. Premier Inn customer services man was useless and couldn’t understand what had happened totally unacceptable, I have had to go to his Manager to get some satisfaction.ģ.33km from The Cue Club First impressions count! When you arrive at the car park of this premier inn you are greeted with a car park / rubbish dump! It is absolutely disgusting. So we just turned down the bedding! We spoke to Shaun the manager on Sunday morning who was very good and helpful and went above and beyond to help us and understood what we were complaining about. But we soon found out to our cost that this room! Hadn’t been left ready for new customers! Only one towel not tea and coffee tiny bit toilet paper no soap We used the bath and it started to leaking so we couldn’t use this anymore There was a bad smell around the bed We couldn’t find it or pinpoint the smell at first so we went to bed 🛌 as we all had a very long day! It wasn’t until we were actually in bed that we could we smell sick on the bedding or duvet! We rolled this back as we couldn’t move at 11.30pm to another room as my son was asleep 💤 we had already moved that day, so for a two night stay to move three times would have been unacceptable. They Changed this room on Saturday afternoon to a new room! What we thought was better!!! Staff helpful though. 1.7km from The Cue Club We stayed 2 nights here, first night our son’s bed was broken, they had made this bed up knowing it was broken? You have to ask why?.
